History of Technical Education

Stitutional specialized training began in the year 1930 when an exchange school was
set up to grant abilities to the understudies. Fundamental Engineering instruction began in
the year 1942. Nepal Engineering School was set up in 1951 and 2 years

supervisors graduated in the year 1961. The present Institute of Engineering was

Specialized Training School at Thapathali in the year 1972.

 PRESENT STATUS OF ENGINEERING EDUCATION

Building training is being conferred through 30 universities incorporating 8 in the
open area. The nation offered BE in Civil Engineering just in the year 1990.
Right now 15 projects are offered in Engineering controls including Civil,
Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer, Rural, Bio Medical, Geometics,
Ecological, Agricultural. Modern, Software, Information Technology,
Correspondence and Architecture. Right now three are 6 colleges and 3 regarded
to be colleges out of which 4 offer these Engineering projects through their
